Our Story

Built to
Be a Voice.

Far too many stories remain unheard. From the young talent next door searching for visibility to the overlooked athletes shaping culture across Africa and beyond, AFTER90 exists to give them a platform and a presence.

We are committed to discovering the people, journeys, and experiences that continue to shape the heartbeat of the game.

Our Manifesto

Sport is identity. What we witness on pitches, tracks, and courts is only a fraction of the story. Beyond the performance lives the rest of it: the culture, the quiet struggles, the grit, and the lived experiences that shape who these athletes really are. We don't just watch the game. We exist to tell that fuller story.

The Journey

Where It Started. Where We Are.

2024Year founded

What started as a conversation about the mindset behind our players' performances has grown into a platform that documents what happens when the whistle is silent and the crowd has moved on. The vision we set in 2024 is still alive, but it has deepened. Every individual carries a story worth telling. We exist to make sure those stories are heard.

Today, our lenses have covered the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, the CAF Champions League, the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, the Arab Cup, the Accra Polo League, the African Senior Athletics Championship, and the Ghana Premier League. Our editorials, the A90 Chronicles, draw over 15 monthly readers. And on YouTube, A90 Vs PROs, Guess the Jam and Rapid90 are changing how fans connect with the players they love. The journey is still unfolding. We are glad to be building it with you.

What We Have Built

15Monthly readers

From the polo grounds of Accra to the athletics tracks of the African Championships, After90 has been on the ground, camera in hand, notebook open. We have published long-form chronicles, produced original video films, and built a community of readers who expect more than match reports.

Today we reach 15 readers monthly across Africa, Europe, and beyond, with a growing archive of premium sports storytelling unlike anything else on the continent.

The voice behind After90. A journalist and storyteller with a sharp eye for the stories that matter, not just on the pitch, but in the lives of the athletes who define African sport.

What We
Stand For

Africa is not an afterthought in the global sports conversation. It is central to it. And we tell it that way.

01

Depth Over Speed

We slow down to find the story beneath the performance. We choose narratives that last over ones that only trend.

02

Africa First

We tell sport from an African perspective, rooted in its culture, its people, and its realities.

03

Visual Integrity

Every image and frame we produce is honest, intentional, and worthy of the story it represents.

04

Community First

Athletes, fans, and everyday voices shape what we do. Their stories guide our direction and define our purpose.
